Hello all not been on for a while no broadband and long story bt transferred my phone from sky when I had told them not to .
Now I've rang 7 times was cut off 5 off those and from my mobile as the house phone not wking finished up writing to bt correspondence as they are trying to charge me 188 quid to disconnect a service I told them I didn't want .that was over a week ago and no reply as yet

After seven weeks without phone and broadband and 10 weeks in total to sort this mess out with BT

Its sorted and ive got 100 quid compo for my troubles and an apology from a senior executive complaints manager from BT he must be high up as his secretary answers when you ring him .#

The final straw was a letter from BTs debt dept saying i owed them 162 pounds and if i dont pay in the next 10 days my debt will be passed on to an agency with fees on top court fees when they rake me to court and this will affect my credit rating .Nice eh

So i took a chance and emailed [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]  and even though he4 had moved on i got a call off someone high up in their complaints dept .

15mins on phone and sorted they have a scale for compo for dead phone line {to be fair all the people i spoke to from bt offered to get the line working but i said i didnt want it with them i wanted it with sky}the guy said 45 pounds and pence to which i replied ,a week?Total he says .
Finished up laughing about it 26 pounds in calls from my mobile made it 70 plus and as a goodwill gesture he said he would round it up to 100 quid .
And he said he would release my old telephone number bt witheld .
Just been on phone to sky asking for them to swap my number back and the useless twats say they cant .

To be honest its cut all the shit sales calls out they cant get me from work etc etc so not too bad in the end .

Its what I always say, complain and keep doing it, if needed imply the threat of small claims courts, it normally does the trick..

Too many people roll over and let them get away with messing you around..
