Went fishing on redesmere yesterday 3pm till 2pm today .
Famous old water in the northwest all the big names in the northweat carp fishing world have been on there at one time or another Frank Warwick one of the more famous ,
Cut a long story short i get there eventually get a spot {very busy } and was on my best behavior making sure i got the set up right found a nice spot with the marker float put some bait in then it happened .



I only went and fell in lol:oops:  money, iphone, bank cards all in my pocket . 
Thought my mate was going to die he was laughing that much running round with his phone to video me as i clambered out .

So Mac ive done the worst thing i coukld do kept on trying the phone .
it was dead then it started ringing i couldnt  hear my mate but he could near me

now if i dial through the voice activation {screen still blank}i can use it as normal .

Its now sat in a sealed tub of rice dryingout switched off .

Do you reckon i might get away with a new screen ?????

ps had 2 bream 8lb and 6lb not what i was after but got me excited thinking they where carp not many under 20lb in there .

First, stop bloody using it, take the battery out and dry it out with a hair dryer and leave it in a warm place for a day or so. The two things that are most likely to be afftected are the ear part and the microphone to talk through, both do not like water

The rest will normally work after its dried out but if its used while damp its prone to massive short circuiting across the main pcb, water is a damn fine electrical conductor

Try that and you MIGHT get away with it, the ear part may just have water in it and that stops the vibration of the mini speaker stopping you from hearing anyone, seems the mic is ok.

How the hell do you get the battery out ?

On most phone's you get the back off and the battery pretty much falls out, most times you have to remove the battery to put the sim in.

Iphone battery doesnt come out without taking phone apart 
Had it fixed 65 quid new screen and a clean out .
Dont know about where you lot live but its a buisiness completely run by asians around here .
Rang up on friday morning explained the fault sounds like you need a new screen and the phone has to be cleaned as well to get all the water out ,bring it now we can do it while you wait .
Gets up there and he writes me a reciept for phone i says they said i could wait for it .Could be a couple of hours so i gave him janes mobile and off i went this was 11am ,3 pm i ring up and ask about any news on the phone oh it takes a long time mate the guy says .Thats a load of bollocks you said couple of hours its now been 4 hours whats going on ?To be honest mate they have all gone to friday prayers .AAAAaaaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh.
